ENGAGED SCHOLARSHIP – SEMINARS (Sponsored Courses/Educational Partners)
1997-2007 Researched, coordinated, and executed over 100 field seminars to over 30 count with 12 to 45 participants per seminar. The seminars lasted one to three weeks in length and were accompanied by an expert guide or academic visiting museums for specific exhibitions, artist studios, special events special firings for ceramics, Pilchuck Glass School for a 1 week glass blowing event where 5 teams of glass blowing artist work. The field seminars were sponsored by various non-profit organizations. The trips additionally raised funds for the organizations.
